The Rev. Dr. Frederick Beck
The Rev. Dr. Frederick Beck serves Faith as Stated Supply Pastor. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont, The University of Rochester Eastman School of Music, and Duke University Divinity School. After teaching for 20 years, he entered the ministry in 1993. In 2012 he retired after serving churches in West Virginia, Indiana, and Greensboro, North Carolina. He also serves as a Parish Associate at Guilford Park Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Sally, live in Forest Oaks.

René Shoffner Summerlin, Music Director

René Shoffner Summerlin René has been a music teacher and director for over 30 years. She earned both her bachelor and master of music degrees from UNCG, with a concentration in voice and piano. Her work with church choirs includes several denominations. She has served as soprano soloist, choir director, pianist, and handbell director. René sang soprano professionally with The Bel Canto Company for 18 years. In addition to her musical work with students from ages 5 through 95, René is a financial advisor and insurance specialist. Monica Joyce
Monica is in the church office on Tuesday and Thursdays 9 am-12 pm. and at other times by appointment. As Office Administrator she creates weekly service documents such as the bulletin and PowerPoint slides for Sunday Worship. She also greets guests and fields questions from visitors and callers.
Monica is a graduate of UNC-G and is currently working on her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at NC A&T University. She has lived and worked in the Triad since 2000. Her background is in sales and marketing and she came to Faith with a desire to commit to a part-time position that was less demanding but equally fulfilling as her previous roles.
